I didn't know where to post this. I tried to use a smiley and it didn't work. I'm not too sure what is going on with that.

was it one of the system defaults? it requires Javascript, so if there was an error on the page, that might be the reason why.

I was messing with my profile. Right now I'm using the Babylon and the wysiwyg but I'm STILL not able to use the smilieys. Cat

Must have been a temporary thing or perhaps the smiley you used doesn't work anymore?

I guess so. I'm using a different layout. Not one I really like but at least I can use the smilies. It is very hard for me to post without smilies. :D ;D ;D

it's a bug in the software. we'll have to live without it for now I guess

Hmm. I've just noticed as a result of your above post .... ^ ... that there IS a difference in the versions between this site .... and another one I've been known to occasionally post on .... ;) . That other site uses SMF 1.1.4 ... and this one .... SMF 2.0 Beta 2.1 . So, it would appear this one could be used as a guinea pig, so to speak ... if anyone http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/8780/rolleyesfq9.gif wanted to see the potential problems ... before upgrading another site.

Can you tell me ... are there ANY benefits that I as a user ... should notice about this updated version ???
