I don't want the site to just become a repository of porn images though. It wastes a lot of bandwidth, and the server is expensive enough as it is.  Links to porn are perfectly fine though.

this server is BSD instead of Linux, and doesn't use Cpanel for hosting...

what the means, is the path to the files on the server changed, and for some reason the messageboard software doesn't allow one to change that in one spot

so the attachments and avatars have been found and fixed.

the spelling however requires a change to the scripting install, and while that's easily accomplished with Cpanel, this new one requires way more work to do that.

Personally? I recommend Firefox, since the spell check is built in and works a lot better.
