Seriously though - I think names related to porn are the best but it may be difficult to find gender neutral ones. Then there is also the idea of the Seven Deadly Sins - sloth, gluttony etc... but that could be far fetched too.

I think that is an added mod feature, same with the pm pop up.
When I look through the "other" board, there aren't options for it that I can see so far, but I will keep looking to see if I can help. ;)

Having PMs pop up like that other site is something I'm working on.

Some of you may have noticed your ranking went up from Virgin to first baser. That's because I dropped the post requirement from 50 to 25.,

With the exception of Virgin, the rank names are kinda lame. If you all want something better, start listing some ideas here.

When I try to reply to more than one person at the same time, I click 'insert quote' but nothing happens. So I have to go copy the first quote and then reply to the second quote, pasting the first one in the box. Any idea if this is a glitch or just something that needs to be changed in the settings?

Nope - turned off the pop bloacker and still nothing.

Maybe I have to restart the puter because of the flash error I ran yesterday - even though I don't think flash has anything to do with it.... :-\

If I go to hit the "Quote" button on a post (using Firefox) to quote someone, I get this green bar at the top of the page that says "Loading..." and it never loads.  I'm having to copy and paste stuff.  Just thought I'd mention it; don't have this problem on other boards.

looks to be a Javascript bug, Firefox is ok, but IE is hosed (as usual).  I've never used that "insert quote" thing before, I usually just use the quote button in the thread and reply to individual people that way.  That works fine with IE at the moment.

I'll have to ask that asshole who installed the software about it.  It's custom shit he wrote for the other board, so it may be awhile.  He told me this board gets to be a guinea pig for porting over the custom stuff he wrote for the other one, since most of it will need to be rewritten for the newer software.

What size avatars will work well?

The ones I tried(that I got from somewhere else) tend to get squished alittle...

The max size was 140x120. I just enlarged it to 150x150.

I picked one of Jiraiya(A character from Naruto, aka as the Pervy Sage. I thought it kind of suits me), but it looked alittle awkward, like it got stretched and squashed abit.

Seems that using other sites to host pictures isn't working quite correctly in avatars. To test, I downloaded your avatar onto my hard drive and uploaded it into your profile - it looks like it should now. You can change it to whatever you want - probably is best to d/l an image onto your hard drive then upload it rather than link to a site anyway.
